Centrally located within 15 minutes drive from both Stellenbosch and Somerset West and 20 minutes from Cape Town international airport. The estate is situated at the gateway of the Cape winelands, but close enough for residents working in the CBD and traveling to the airport. Our residents are spoilt with choice with some of the finest restaurants and shopping centres within a short drive from the estate. There are a wide range of markets to choose from right on our doorstep. Some top private as well as public schools are within easy range of the estate.

Unexpected visitors will have to sign in with a valid drivers’ license and vehicle license. Residents have access to a visitor management system to pre-authorise expected visitors and all visitors must be pre-authorised. De Wijnlanden has a ‘No Pin No Entry’ protocol  and visitors will have to call the Resident for a pin if this has not been pre-arranged. This includes any service providers or deliveries.

The speed limit is 30 km/h. A number of speed cameras and speed indicators are placed throughout the Estate. Speed fines are issued by the DWHOA. Residents are responsible to ensure their visitors are aware of the speed limit.

A limit of 2 Dogs and 2 Cats are allowed per household. Pet owners should ensure their pets are tagged/microchipped and can register their pets on the GloPortal app. Dogs must always be on a leash outside their residence. The Dog Park is a leash-free area.

Post is delivered to the manager’s office on Mondays and Fridays. The closest Post Office is Lyndoch or Stellenbosch (Neelsie). Newspapers are delivered to the Gate House.

Refuse & Recycling2023-06-08T13:42:10+02:00

Refuse is collected on Mondays. The Estate has engaged a private contractor for recycling. Recycling is collected on Wednesdays.
